   Covid -19 vaccine

New Delhi Agencies. A scientist associated with the Ministry of Science and Technology has said in his article that the human trial of two vaccines in the country is a pleasant sign in the fight against Corona. The scientist also says that this trial is the beginning of the end of the corona virus. The Indian Drugs Controller General (DGCI) has approved the human trials of Bharat Biotech's Kovaxin and Zydus Cadila's Zaykov-D vaccine.

This article has been published on the Information Office (PIB) and the website of Vigyan Prasar, the institution of the ministry. Science scholar scientist TV Venkateswaran has written this article. The article published on the PIB website does not provide any time limit for the introduction of the vaccine. While the article published on Vigyan Prasar's website stated that the vaccine would not be available for widespread use before 15 to 18 months.

Venkateswaran has said that these two vaccines are like bright streaks i.e. a ray of hope amidst dense clouds. It states that the DGCI has not set a deadline for the human trial of the vaccine, but it marks the beginning of the end of the corona.

The article says that research is underway on 140 vaccines worldwide. By combining these two vaccines, 11 vaccines have reached the stage of human trials, that is, 11 vaccines are being tested on humans somewhere. These include four more Indian companies apart from Bharat Biotech and Zydus Cadila.
